that depends…which seat do you have….depending on the seat there are different ways…some adjust in the front…some from the splitter plate in the back.

Check the manual for the particular seat in question. Regularly there is a place on the back or bottom of the seat for storing the manual or you can probably get a copy online.
The ones I am most familiar with have a strap emerging from the seat in the area that would be between the babie’s feet. Pulling this strap tightens the harness. Releasing the camlock there while pulling on the harness will loosen it. This only works within a certain range and there is usually another adjustment in the back of the seat to change the range for a larger or smaller child. The shoulder straps can also be fed through different sets of slots for different sized children.
