I have a Honda Pilot and LOVE it! We have 2 car seats in the back, and subdue have plently of room.

I have a Honda town 4 door with child locks. My 3 year ancient sits behind the driver seat. I personally urge a 4 door car, it’s so much simpler to go in and out with a child that way. A 2 door is so much harder to work. You end up climbing in to get the child or contorting yourself to place the car seat in. Very hard.

As for protection features, my car is older so the LATCH system was not nearly yet. But LATCH is excellent, Childproof doors are VERY vital in my mind. Would not want your modest one to open the door at 65 mph down the road.

I personally urge a Honda, they are fantastic cars, have lots of room and run for ever.

    Best of luck!

I have a Mazda 3 hatchback and it is wonderful. Two car seats fit easily in the back with plenty of room. My husband is 6’4″ and when he puts the front seat all the way back my daughter subdue has room to kick her feet. There is also plenty of room in the hatchback for a baby carriage and all the other baby gear!

I have a GMC Envoy and like it. Prior I had a Ford Explorer and to be honest, liked it better. It was roomier. I have a lot of acquaintances who drive the Honda Odyssey, minivan, and swear by it.

We have a Buick LeSabre. It’s very roomy, with lots of trunk space for strollers and such. It’s a 4-door, with the back doors having the child protection feature. We’ve had it for a year (we bought it used) and we like it. It’s very comfortable, and gets excellent gas mileage.

You need a car like a caravan, more comfortable when it comes to kids! has space for the two toddler seats and extra space on back for more ppl.

The Picasso’s are fantastic cos you can get both seats in the back (or in the front for a treat and turn off the airbag), subdue get someone or stuff in the middle and with only the handbreak on the floor you can walk from the front to the back of the car really easily. My vote at the moment. Oh and plenty of room for the baby carriage, pram and some shopping. (and the odd football). Oh and it sits a bit higher which makes it much simpler for getting them in and out.

We have a Nissian Quest. It has child lock protection. It has room for the my kids car seats and a back seat for anyone else. Also excellent size trunk for baby carriage and groceries. My kids like the van because we have a TV in it…also keeps them entertained when we are traveling. Excellent luck on your car search!!
